Our history
New Learning Day was established in 2014 with the aim of incorporating the teachings of classical thinkers and educational movements (Vygotsky, Piaget, Montessori) with current trends based on research on the infant brain (Early Childhood Stimulation, STEM). The goal is to create an educational development center that prepares children from an early age in their cognitive, physical, and emotional abilities. This will help them develop a love of learning, as well as sharing and teamwork. These are the foundations for academic and professional success.
The road so far hasn’t been easy. However, despite the challenges of today’s Puerto Rico, we’ve grown, and I can proudly say that NLD is a second home for our children and their parents.

Our Graduates
Our students are regularly admitted to the top schools in the metropolitan area. We are often told that kindergarten and first grade teachers report that New Learning Day graduates are enthusiastic learners and are socially and academically prepared for the years to come.
Health and Safety
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our standards are the highest in the industry, meeting or exceeding all government regulations. NLD has the following:
- Classrooms planned and equipped for the specific development stage of the groups.
- Security cameras monitor each room, the courtyards, and the parking lot.
- Solar panels with Tesla batteries and a generator to mitigate power outages
- Water tanker to mitigate water service failures
- Using a mobile app to record student arrivals and departures
