promise to families
At New Learning Day, we know that childhood is a precious stage. We believe it is our responsibility to provide environments and experiences that capture the joys of childhood, foster each child’s individual growth and development, and pave the way for success in school and in life.
Support for the whole family
Dr. Morales and the NLD team provide support during these developmental stages. From learning to crawl, toilet training, to tantrums. We're here for our families.
Communication
The center has an app where parents can view daily information such as diaper changes, the center's calendar, feeding, etc.
Proven approach to education
Our educational curriculum is based on the theories of Montessori, Piaget, and Vygotsky. Elements of the STEM curriculum are also incorporated. The curriculum is sent to parents monthly.
Infants
A love of learning begins at the earliest ages. In the preschool classroom, the caring teachers, daily structure, and early stimulation activities promote a sense of security and physical, social, and emotional development. More than just babysitting, the seed is planted for your child’s future academic, social, and emotional development.
Both the design of the space and the toys and materials used were meticulously chosen to promote this development. We encourage you to visit our Facebook page to see videos of our caregivers carrying out Early Stimulation activities.
Toddlers
As children begin to walk and talk regularly, their curiosity drives them to explore. The walker group encourages children’s growing independence by helping them develop valuable skills such as communicating and collaborating with others.
NLD’s educational program is designed to promote intellectual/academic development through:
- Songs and rhymes
- Continue developing communication skills by learning words like “over,” “above,” “below,” and “beneath.”
- Become familiar with a writing instrument so you can begin making more precise lines and drawings.
- Describe and assign meaning to what they write and draw
- Vocabulary acquisition by identifying people, animals, and objects with words.
- Use teachers and other classmates as resources when solving problems and/or adopting new ways of completing an activity or using a toy.
As part of our core offerings, a copy of the detailed educational program for that month and specific group is sent monthly. This way, parents can stay up-to-date on classroom activities and, at the same time, repeat or modify some of the activities at home, thus continuing to foster their child’s development while spending time together.
Pre Pre
Pre Pre is an important year. New Learning Day has designed a program to give parents complete confidence in every aspect of their child’s experience. From the safety and hygiene aspects; the dynamic curriculum based on recognized trends in education; to the commitment of the teachers.
